  • Charlie Clover

    Trainer

Charlie has always been passionate about horses. After school, he quickly established a successful eventing yard, competing at national and international levels and being shortlisted for the GBR junior and young rider teams.

In 2016, Charlie transitioned into racing when his brother, Tom Clover, began training. He played a key role in growing Tom's yard, earning licenses for amateur flat, jumps, and point-to-point racing, and securing wins across the board.

Eager to learn more, Charlie worked in the U.S. with White Birch Farm and Christophe Clement Racing, where he helped prepare horses for major races, including Royal Ascot. Returning to the UK, he became an assistant for Kevin Philippart de Foy, managing a new yard that produced 28 of the team’s 62 winners last year. He also saddled Vafortino to success in Dubai.

In addition to training, Charlie has a talent for bloodstock trading, turning a modest investment in yearlings into substantial returns. Now, as he starts his own training career, Charlie is seeking support from new owners to join his growing team.
